What’s your return policy?

We will be happy to issue a refund within 14 days of purchase – Please contact us to discuss.


What is your minimum weight/age – maximum age/weight?

Minmum age: 16

As our hovercrafts require a degree of weight control there are limits in place which are listed below:

Minimum weight: 55kgs / 8.5 St

Max weight: 115kgs / 18 St


Medical Fitness?

On the day you will spend alot of time riding the hovercraft on your knees, you are therefore expected to have a reasonable level of fitness in your legs, such as your knees and leg muscles. If you are unsure, please do get in contact with us.


Can I add another person to my booking?

Yes, we would be happy to do this for you. Please call us to arrange this.


Can I bring friends and family to watch?

Of course! The best way to experience the hovercrafts is to bring your friends and family along!


Can I bring my dog?

Yes you can, however please note that we operate on a busy airfield and would therefore expect you to keep your dog on the lead at all times.


How soon before my booked time do I need to arrive?

We ask that you arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your booking.


What happens if I have to cancel?

That is not a problem as long as you give us notice, we will be able to re-book you for another day. However, If you cancel 48 hours prior to booking, you will be charged a £50 re-booking fee.


Do I get a refund?

Please see our returns policy above.

If you arrive on the day and want to cancel or withdraw, unfortunately we will not be able to offer a refund.


What happens if I am ill?

We appreciate sometimes this can happen that may stop you from attending on the day. If this is the case, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange another day.


What happens if I am late?

We are very busy during the season and ask that you aim to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking. We will do our best to delay for your arrival, however on certain occasions we may be forced to start. If you think you will be late, please give us a call as soon as possible.


Where do I check in for my hovercraft experience?

When you arrive at Strathaven Airfield, please ask in the club house for either Colin or Josh.


Weather: how do I check it is suitable, what conditions will make you call it off, will I get rebooked?

Weather can impact our operation and therefore we ask that you call on the morning or night before you booking to check if the weather is ok. We tend to postpone your booking when the weather is too adverse, such as thunderstorms and winds gusting 25mph+


What clothes should I wear?

You are not expected to get muddy. However please dress appropriate for the weather. We do ask that you wear loose fitting trousers. It is also advisable to wear shoes you do not mind getting wet.
